Today's experience at Performance Pickleball was nothing short of amazing. Due to a communication mishap, they were unaware of our event. Even so, Manager Hal welcomed us with professionalism, grace, and a willingness to make it work. Hal told us, "I'm going to do my best," but what he delivered went far beyond his best. He transformed what could have been a stressful situation into an unforgettable experience for our children. His patience, encouragement, and ability to teach proper pickleball techniques made every child feel included and successful. The smiles on their faces said it all. Children learn best through play, and today they weren't just learning a new sportโthey were creating memories that will last a lifetime. One little girl was so impressed by Hal's skills that she proudly said she wanted to learn to play as well as he does one day. That moment alone speaks volumes about the positive influence he had. I also want to recognize Tanner, the intern, who was equally phenomenal. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and willingness to jump in and assist kept the children engaged and motivated throughout the session. If today is any indication of his future, Tanner is well on

My husband and I visited this facility during our short stay in Roanoke. The courts were awesome as were the people. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We attended an open play on a Tuesday from 9 AM -12 PM. We did visit during the week of Christmas so that morning there werenโt too many people but everyone was telling us that in the afternoon/evenings there is a really nice crowd. We werenโt able to revisit again later in the evening, but next time we go back to Roanoke, we will definitely be going to this place again!

My happy place!! Do yourself a favor and come check it out. They host Fundamental Fridays for those just learning the game, and weekly events you can join to play with members at similar skill levels. Itโs a great place to play and then eat/drink/socialize afterwards, they have 6 big screens for football watching and a really good food and drink selection! They even have a little kid corner with books and toys- so bring the whole fam :) Itโs truly a pickleball paradise for beginners AND advanced players - all are welcomed into this amazing little community <3. Use a guest pass, demo a paddle, and come check it out!

Great facility. Love the indoor courts. Staff is friendly. I like that they have a lot of organized activities (of all levels of play) outside of just open play. I have taken a few lessons there and found them very helpful. They have an app for signing up for events, open play or lessons making it easy to know whatโs going on. They have yummy food and beverages as well which is a nice bonus to playing there.

The facility is top notch. The courts are fantastic. The people are really nice too. The private coaches are phenomenal. Tyler Reburn and Tim Cass are both great instructors. There is also a bar and grill in there. I have not tried it yet, but hope to soon. It is just a fun place to learn how to play pickleball and actually have what you learn translate to the courts.
